Spencer McGee
Was happy
As he sat by
A sappy tree
He dreamed
Of being a Gladiator
which was better
Than being a Sadiator
He would fight for happiness
With his make-believe
manliness
He could picture
His opponent's craftiness
As well as the winds
Familiar draftiness
The crowds would cheer
As they saw Spencer’s
classiness
Within the ring
That was a bit cavernous
He smiled and waved
At the end
With his goal
Achieved again
