King Simon of Diamonds was ruler
Oh yes it's true
Who cared very little
For me and for you
A servant came in
On bended knee
And said what can I do
Your great majesty
My servant steven
King Simon replied
You may arise
To go to the kitchen
And get me some fries
But when you make them
Take out the eyes
I don't like food
That can be used as spies
King Simon was impatient
He thought they were stalling
But then he heard a messenger calling
With a kick and a boom
He came through the doors
Which cluttered and clashed
Right onto the floor
I have a great message
From Greater Spaulding
A quaint little town
That is continually balding
The king said it doesn't matter
You leave them be
Those peoples troubles
Are not important to me
People have come
From all over the kingdom
To help with their hair
And give them some freedom
And feel greater care
That's not good
No not at all
They're peasants and should remain quite small
The wigs that they use
Look kind of dandy
In fact, they were made
From fresh cotton candy
He said it's not right
He said it's not fair
He said people shouldn't have cotton candy for hair
The peasants of Spaulding
Were all outside
With their new hair
And a sense of great pride
They threw Simon out
Along with his fries
Now king Simon
No longer a king
Walks down the street
And regrets everything
He looks at the people
He used to rule
And says that he's sorry
For being a fool
