The know-it-all Ball

The know-it-all Ball
Is held every fall
In the downtown area
At the mall

There is sure to be people
Short and tall
But there are a few rules
To get in at all

You have to be proud
And be kind of loud
If you truly want to be
With the know-it-all crowd

Bad things can happen
At the know-it-all Ball
If you’re a good kid
It might start a brawl

So if you’re not tough
And don't act kind of rough
You might start to bawl
At a know-it-all brawl

But if you keep your cool
And don’t be a fool
You could land a dance
With the one who’s a jewel

Kitty McClain

I've got a story, oh yes it's true
And I know because of me
you'll be entertained too

To be introduced, I'll tell you my name
But just to forewarn you, it's not quite the same
As some of the names, you hear day-to-day

I'm Kitty McClain
Though it sounds kind of lame
You won't find a dame
Where I'm from with that name

I'm a lovable bard
Though life has been hard
I've traveled through time
Which is why I rhyme

I've seen each of these stories
Play out as they go
So now lend an ear
And you too will know

Desarae McClain

It was Desarae McClain
Who is all to blame
For this whole mess
I’m stuck inside

She always wanted the fame
Which became my bane
With every choice I did decide

She knew I’d get stuck
And run out of luck
In the place where time will collide

This is where the past can begin
And the future does end
But I’ll lose if I start to cry

Because she knew it back then
That her name truly meant
The one who everyone desires

Hope Haiku

My heart did hope
Through time and crowds
To find the cap of its empty hole
