The
sky was black with no stars to shine
So
the trees were perfect to hide behind
The
only light came from the dream trail
A
train of magic to make dreams shine
Ally
stood at the front to drive and guide
But
her thoughts were far, far, behind
She
thought of her father, who she thought had died
But
now she was searching to love and to find
The dream
trail flew through the sky
The
black-hearted shadowy sky
But
hope was still there with Ally
No
matter how low or how high
She smiled
at the forest below and waved goodbye
But
adventure was ahead, and it would be wonderful
Even
if there was no Wi-Fi
In a place that is so colorful
The
world can be a magical place
With
beauty surrounding every tiny space
It
all depends on how we see it
We
can go on a journey at a nice pace
Or
you could lose focus and make it a race
With
the suns rising she set to the seas
And
was refreshed by the oceans fresh breeze
She talked
with her sister, but received only grief
But
she would not stop, not by degrees
Nor
by anything that makes you freeze
Ally
knew her time was brief
So
she sped up the dream trail, with the help of the breeze
And reached
a place where there was no reef
Ally
stepped in front of what looked like an ice palace
And up
above was the aurora borealis
The Northern
lights swirled like a dream
She stepped
inside and saw a chalice
That
was grabbed by a man that had no malice
He
had a drink as he touched a beam
“You
are here, Alice”
The voice
was soft like water flowing down a stream
“The
world can be a magical place
With
beauty surrounding every tiny space
It
all depends on how we see it
We
can go on a journey at a nice pace
Or
you could lose focus and make it a race”
He
put his hand around her and took her outside
But all
she wondered was why did he hide
“Father,
it’s been so long”
The
king looked at her eyes
And he
started to cry
Because
he too, thought she was gone
