The Hungarian Librarian

There once was a girl named Marian
Who lived her life as a vegetarian
Nobody would have guessed this
From the Hungarian librarian

Her fridge was so green
The greenest I've ever seen
You may be asking
Well what do you mean

The fridge was filled with the smell of veggies
Like lettuce, broccoli, and lima beans
You never know what kind of things
A vegetarians fridge will bring

You may be afraid to give it a taste
But don't let it go to waste
It might taste bad, but it might taste good
Give it a try, you know you should

Marian loves the crackle she'll hear
When she touches the head of lettuce that's near
Whether the sky is dark, or the sky is clear
Food will be better when you are here

The Diamond Yard

There is a house
That has a yard
That's filled to the brim
With diamond shards

When I looked
It was quite the garden
But the neighbors got mad
And told me not to barge in

Don't be tempted
By shiny things
Like diamond yards
And golden rings

You may get rich
And you may have fun
But don't be sad
When it's all done
