Young
Elise lived in the woods
Where
her house and garden stood
Each
plant and flower loved their aura
Except
the lonely Mandragora
Elise
loved her pets
Like
the dog she called Bret
And her
fowl she called owl
Who wore
a strange cowl
Bret,
he did scowl
As
the cowled owl flew in on their feast
Alarming
them all
Of
the terrible beast
The beast came in quickly
Blowing
his fire
Which
highlighted brightly
His ghastly
attire
They
ran and they ran
Through
grass and through sand
And
the cold winter wind
Made
the young Elise Spin
Till
she fell fast asleep
Underneath
the green trees
Dreaming
of the beast
With
a heart that’s so hardened
He had
burned the whole garden
Young
Elise woke up quickly
And turned
her friends around
To her
house in the woods
So she
could feel that fresh ground
Bret
he did fret
And
the cowled owl did scowl
But Elise
knew her quest well
To fight
and to quell
The beast
he was there
With
his dark fiery stare
But
Elise was not scared
She
jumped through the window
And pushed
the beast out
But was
saddened inside
When
she saw the beast pout
“I
just wanted a home
Somewhere
to stop from my roam
All
I do is I scare
Leaving
places unshared”
Elise
filled with love
Gave
him a hug
And they
both had hot chocolate
In fancy
white mugs
