Animal Hotel

Up on the top floor

Where there is just one boar

Whose job is to check the doors

I decided to explore

But there was not much more

So I went to the lobby

To see if they had anything

For hobbies

There were slugs

Who set out rugs

And mice

Who rolled the dice

I didn’t think

I would see this twice

But the animals

Were all very nice

So I took a picture

With my device

There was a crow

Rolling dough

As if he was doing

His own cooking show

Then the Urchin

Started searchin’

Through the library

The baboon

Made balloons

While listening

To some tunes

I sat down

Without a frown

Happy to have found

Some common ground
