One-Eyed Frank

One-eyed Frank
Worked at a bank
It was in his nature
To give lots of thanks

There was one day
Where he went to the bay
Where the young kids played

He got left alone
He lost his car
And his home
So all he really could do
Was to roam

He sat down and thought
And remembered
All the things that he forgot

His property was stolen
And he felt very sad
The situation seemed very grave
But what Frank did
Was he forgave

It was at this time
That he was in a field
And he just felt
He needed a shield

Not one made of wood
Or of a physical substance
But a friend
Who could give him help

He looked at a nearby tree
Where he saw that it was she
A woman in a red dress
That had white frills at the bottom
and on the sleeves

Hello, my name is Abigail
It seems you have quite the tale
Life has a cost
And that means feeling lost

It is darkness
That blinds us in our time of need
But it also leads to the light
It is my hope
That you are alright

I have a boat
That sails the seas
I would love to have you
If you please
