There was a man
Or so they suppose
Who wanted just someone
He could give a red rose
The man’s name was Larry
That part is true
He was very young
Just thirty-two
But Larry, oh Larry
Who worked on a Ferry
Could not get the girl
Because he was scary
He would have loved to have shared
But nobody cared
Because they all judged the man
Who was covered in hair
One day on the ferry
A girl talked with Larry
She said you have quite a burden
One hard to carry
I have a good ship
One that sails well
You can come ride on it
With me, Abigail
I have a good crew
They’re faithful and true
And I guarantee
They’ll be good to you too
